Hello, Sandra here, also known as boatybabe. I'm a bit of a hippy at heart living on a narrow boat. I love my dog Penny Pooh, my family and living on my boat on the Shropshire Union Canal. I have a love for all animals and the countryside. I do my own thing but have an interest in all. I would like to meet someone similar who is interested in sustainable living who can either learn with me or who is already living it. I love cultural travel (when i can afford it) so it is quite important that you like traveling so as to accompany me when i can afford to go, hehehe. I like reading, walking and sometimes a film but am not a great lover of the TV. I will try most anything once, again if i like it. I like an adventure, and have, skied, snowborded, hot air ballooned, parchute jumped and skydived, driven a snowmobile, quadbike, my old suzuki intruder 750(which i no longer have due to my boat). I have travelled to America, Goa, Jamaica, Morocco, and just returned from a 3 week tour of Thailand, Vietnam, Loas and Cambodia. Also i'v visited many other closer destinations. I consider myself, young minded and free spirited, I have a great life living on my narrow boat on the Shropshire Union Canal with my gorgeous Jack Russell, Penny Pooh, who travels around the countryside with me in my converted transit campervan. I have an inquisitive mind, and if someone treats me bad, I ask why, this has been miss-understood as argumentative, it isn't, i am just inquiring why that bad thing was said to or about me. I can also be a bit of an analyst. I have a very soft loving side, which only gets better if I’m treated the same in return. I am trustworthy and honest to a fault. I am human so can't always be soft, loving cute and perfect, I have a moody side that can be handles if the person cares about me enough to learn how. If my partner is in a mood or feeling down I ask and enquire, and treat tenderly with care. Do you see where I am coming from? if you do, please make contact, then you'll find out so much more.
